Summary


Service Delivery Manager - Cancer Performance & Improvement



We’re looking for a dynamic and experienced Service Delivery Manager to lead cancer performance and improvement across our Trust. You’ll be at the heart of delivering the 28-day Faster Diagnosis Standard, ensuring patients get timely, high-quality care while driving service improvements and supporting our cancer teams.



What You’ll Do
• Oversee cancer pathways, review patient progress daily, and identify diagnostic delays or gaps.
• Work with imaging and diagnostic services to ensure patients are on the right pathway.
• Line manage Pathway Navigators, supporting their development and performance.
• Analyse performance data, produce reports, and present trends to inform improvements.
• Chair PTL tracking meetings, escalate risks, and support operational decision-making.
• Lead training, awareness sessions, and stakeholder presentations on pathway performance.
• Contribute to service development, audits, and initiatives to meet national cancer standards.

About You
• Strong leadership and people management skills in a healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of cancer pathways, diagnostics, and national performance standards.
• Skilled in analysing data and using tools such as Qlik Sense.
• Collaborative, proactive, and passionate about improving patient experience.
