Are you passionate about making a real difference in young people's lives? Our client, a respected organisation supporting young people with autism, learning difficulties, and social, emotional, and mental health needs, is urgently recruiting Full-Time Residential Support Workers in Frome.
Due to the immediate need for support, candidates with a DBS on the Update Service will be strongly preferred.
The RoleYou'll play a vital role in providing consistent, compassionate support in a residential setting. Duties include:
- Providing emotional and practical support to young people
- Assisting with daily routines such as getting ready for school
- Supporting the development of independence and life skills
- Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
- Taking part in activities and outings such as cinema trips, baking, or days out
- Working collaboratively within a supportive and caring team
- Compassionate, reliable, and committed individuals
- Patience, resilience, and a positive attitude
- Someone who enjoys engaging activities like gaming, film nights, or baking
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
- DBS on the Update Service preferred due to how quickly the client needs support
- No previous experience required - full training and funded qualifications provided
- Full-Time Day Support Worker: £14.00 per hour
