Summary

Residential Support Worker - Full Time

Location: Frome
Day Rate: £14.00 per hour
Night Rate: £14.50 per hour

Are you passionate about making a real difference in young people's lives? Our client, a respected organisation supporting young people with autism, learning difficulties, and social, emotional, and mental health needs, is urgently recruiting Full-Time Residential Support Workers in Frome.

Due to the immediate need for support, candidates with a DBS on the Update Service will be strongly preferred.

The Role

You'll play a vital role in providing consistent, compassionate support in a residential setting. Duties include:

  • Providing emotional and practical support to young people
  • Assisting with daily routines such as getting ready for school
  • Supporting the development of independence and life skills
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
  • Taking part in activities and outings such as cinema trips, baking, or days out
  • Working collaboratively within a supportive and caring team
What We're Looking For
  • Compassionate, reliable, and committed individuals
  • Patience, resilience, and a positive attitude
  • Someone who enjoys engaging activities like gaming, film nights, or baking
  • Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
  • DBS on the Update Service preferred due to how quickly the client needs support
  • No previous experience required - full training and funded qualifications provided
