Summary

Chelmsford City Council runs four leisure centres across the city of Chelmsford offering a wide range of sport and leisure activities.


South Woodham Ferrers Leisure Centre is a multi-purpose sports centre and swimming pool, accommodating two sports halls, gym, activity room, tennis courts, outdoor 3G pitch & multi use games area, serving the local community with a range of sport and leisure activities.


We are looking for passionate and driven individuals to deliver high quality and high energy Group Exercise classes at South Woodham Ferrers Leisure Centre. The successful applicants will join our vibrant team in delivering the high level of customer service our users expect, inspiring participants, supporting growing class attendance and playing a key part in retaining customers.


We are looking for Pilates, Yoga, and Aqua Aerobics instructors to help develop our class timetable so applicants must hold a relevant class qualification and have excellent interpersonal and customer care skills and be confident and outgoing.

This position is offered on a casual basis to cover the opening hours of the centre, from 6.30am to 10pm, including weekends and bank holidays.


Interviews are currently scheduled for the week commencing 18th May 2026.
