Summary

The Seasonal Worker is involved in the planting, harvesting and packing of vegetables and fruit including broccoli, cauliflower, Brussel sprouts, strawberries and blueberries.

Working hours and days will vary depending on crop, weather, and customer demand.

Transport will be arranged from the main farm address to any field you are required to work each day.


Responsibilities:
- Planting and harvesting broccoli and cauliflower in varying weather conditions.
- Harvesting broccoli, cauliflower and brussel sprouts to customer specification.
- Working in teams of 7 when harvesting broccoli and cauliflower, following team leader instructions to ensure crop is not wasted or lost.
- Planting and harvesting of table-top strawberries and blueberries.
- Plant husbandry jobs when crop demands.
- Recording daily your time spent working. Paperwork must be submitted to the Farm Manager no later than the Monday of the following week.
- Attending and complying with on the job and health & safety training.

Qualifications:
Seasonal Worker should have the following skills and experience:
- Ability to work in a team – essential.
- Attention to detail – essential.
- Adaptable and flexible – ‘can do attitude’ is essential.
- Experience of working in a farm environment planting and harvesting vegetables and fruit - desirable.

Compensation:
Hourly rate of £12.71. Overtime payable at £19.07 per hour after 8 hours worked on any day or for more than 48 hours worked in the week at or up to 26 weeks continuous service (39 hours in any one week over 26 weeks continuous service).

Holiday entitlement as per Agricultural Wages Order in most circumstances will be 28 days/year proportional to part of year worked.

Starting date would be Monday 18th May 2026
