We’re recruiting compassionate Support Workers to join our Forfar Housing Support Service, supporting 4 adults in their own homes. Each person has unique strengths and needs, including learning disabilities, complex needs, dual sensory impairments, complex communication needs and diabetes. Support is fully person-centred and delivered in partnership with families and Welfare Guardians.


The Role

No two days are the same. You’ll support one individual at a time with:

>Personal care and medication support
>Manual handling and wheelchair assistance
>Cooking, meal planning and household tasks
>Supporting behaviours that may challenge
>Community activities, holidays and short breaks
>Financial support
>Writing support plans and risk assessments

You’ll be part of a small, experienced team with strong management support, while having the freedom to bring your own ideas and compassion to the role.


Shift Pattern

>Earlies, lates and waking nights
>Rota-based for fairness and consistency
>Lone working or 2:1 support, always person-focused
