A highly supportive SEN provision in Oldham is seeking a committed Autism Specialist Teacher to join their team. This is a rewarding opportunity to work in a purpose-built environment where pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) are supported through structured routines, tailored teaching, and a nurturing approach that promotes both academic and personal growth.

In this role, you will play a vital part in helping pupils feel secure, understood, and confident in their learning journey.

You will:
- Plan and deliver individualised, highly differentiated lessons tailored to pupils with ASC
- Support pupils with communication, sensory processing, and social interaction needs
- Use specialist strategies to engage learners and build confidence
- Promote independence, emotional regulation, and communication development
- Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, therapists, and SEN professionals
- Build strong partnerships with parents and carers to support pupil progress
- Create a structured, predictable, and supportive classroom environment

Your teaching will help pupils develop the skills they need not only to learn, but to navigate the world around them with confidence.

We are looking for an individual who combines expertise with empathy and a genuine commitment to inclusive education.

You will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
- Experience supporting pupils with autism or additional learning needs
- Strong skills in differentiation and personalised learning
- A patient, resilient, and adaptable approach
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A clear passion for supporting pupils with SEN to achieve their potential
- Main Pay Scale (MPS) salary from day one
- Additional SEN allowance for specialist teaching
