A highly regarded SEN provision in Oldham is seeking an exceptional Autism Provision Teacher to join their team. Roles like this do not stay on the market for long. You will be working in a dedicated autism unit designed to provide structure, consistency, and a nurturing environment where pupils can truly thrive.

If you are driven to support pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and want to see the direct impact of your teaching every day, this is a role worth exploring.

You will play a central role in helping pupils build confidence, develop independence, and engage meaningfully with their learning.

You will:
- Plan and deliver highly personalised, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs
- Support pupils with ASC, including speech, language, and communication needs
- Use structured, evidence-based teaching approaches to maximise engagement
- Promote communication, independence, and social development
- Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, SEN specialists, and therapists
- Build strong, supportive relationships with parents and carers
- Create a safe, predictable, and inclusive learning environment

Your teaching will help pupils feel understood, supported, and motivated to succeed.

We are looking for a teacher who combines expertise with a genuine commitment to inclusive education.

You will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
- Have experience supporting pupils with ASC or additional needs (desirable but not essential)
- Demonstrate strong differentiation and personalised teaching strategies
- Be patient, resilient, and adaptable
- Have excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Be passionate about helping every pupil reach their full potential
- MPS salary paid to scale from day one
- Additional SEN allowance
- The opportunity to work in a specialist ASC provision
- A supportive leadership team and collaborative staff culture
- Access to ongoing SEN training and professional development
- A clear pathway to a permanent role
- High-demand, specialist setting with strong support structures
- Opportunity to see real, measurable progress in pupils
- A role where your expertise is valued and your impact is visible daily

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All applicants will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS check and provide satisfactory references.

If you are ready to take on a rewarding challenge and make a lasting difference in a specialist ASC setting, we would love to hear from you.
