We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable franchised automotive dealership in Guildford, seeking a skilled Diagnostic Vehicle Technician.

Duties:

- Conduct accurate diagnostics and triage to identify vehicle faults efficiently
- Determine whether repairs can be carried out independently or need to be delegated
- Perform mechanical and electrical repairs complying with manufacturer standards
- Maintain high levels of productivity and work efficiently to meet repair times
- Collaborate closely with colleagues to ensure workshop efficiency
- Keep up-to-date with the latest vehicle diagnostics technology through manufacturer-led training
- Ensure high-quality repair and servicing standards across all tasks

Requirements for the Diagnostic Vehicle Technician position:

- NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent
- Proven diagnostic skills, with experience in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently, demonstrating attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Previous experience in a franchised dealership is preferred but not essential
- Full UK driving licence
