• Is well‑organised, practical, and understanding
• Holds a relevant professional qualification in education, youth work, or social work at specialist/advanced level
• Is positive, caring, and genuinely motivated to help young people succeed
• Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
• Is calm, adaptable, and able to thrive in a busy school and boarding environment
• Has strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Is confident using ICT and comfortable working with a wide range of learners and professionals
• Will contribute positively to the wider life of the school and boarding community
