About the Role

This full‑time, permanent Grade D post provides vital support to the Education Welfare and Legal Intervention Teams. Key responsibilities include processing Penalty Notice payments, responding to parent enquiries received by email and telephone, and offering effective problem‑solving support to colleagues and stakeholders across the Education service.

About You

The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following strengths:

  • Confidently prepare accurate, well‑written operational reports and presentations with minimal supervision.
  • Manage routine stakeholder interactions professionally, maintaining strong and effective working relationships.
  • Provide clear, detailed advice and guidance to customers, colleagues and partners by email and telephone, using an emerging understanding of relevant policies and legislation to support more complex queries.
  • Contribute to improving business systems by identifying inefficiencies, recommending enhancements, and promoting the effective use of technology.
  • Support and deliver project tasks independently, contributing to the planning and implementation of improvements that strengthen service delivery and customer experience.
