Mae Cyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Conwy yn cynnal casgliadau gwastraff ac ailgylchu i gartrefi a busnesau yng Nghonwy ac yn gweithredu Gorsaf Swmpio Ailgylchu a Gorsaf Trosglwyddo Gwastraff i dderbyn y deunydd lle caiff ei swmpio a'i anfon i'w ailbrosesu. Ein ffocws yw casglu deunyddiau glân, wedi'u gwahanu, gwerth uchel y gellir eu defnyddio i wneud cynhyrchion newydd.

Work base: Recycling Bulking Depot, Rhuddlan Road, Abergele

Conwy County Borough Council carries out waste and recycling collections to households and businesses in Conwy and operates a Recycling Bulking Station and Waste Transfer Station to receive the material where it is bulked and sent for reprocessing. Our focus is on collecting clean, segregated, high-value materials that can be used to make new products.

What you’ll be doing:

• Operate Plant Machinery for loading materials, including Forklift Truck, Telehandler, Shovel Loader, JCB or Excavator
• Undertake scheduled maintenance of equipment and machinery.
• Handling and sorting recycling materials safely and efficiently
• Assisting with loading / unloading vehicles at the bulking station
• Keeping the bulking station clean, safe and organised
• Following health and safety procedures at all times

What we’re looking for:

• You must have a competency certificate in the operation of a Shovel Loader, Excavator, Forklift Truck or Telehandler
• Knowledge and understanding of health and safety procedures
• Someone who is reliable, punctual and willing to get stuck in
• A team player with a positive can-do attitude
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling

There will be requirement to work Bank Holidays including working the three Saturdays around the Christmas period.
