We are seeking a Business Development Lead to own the end-to-end sales and bid process across the Office & Production sectors, from opportunity identification through to contract award and handover.
This role plays a critical part in driving new business, organic growth and retention, while ensuring strong pipeline management, forecasting accuracy and disciplined CRM activity.
Job Description
We are looking for an experienced commercial professional to support the Divisional Director and Sector Commercial Director in delivering growth within the Office & Production sectors.
The role will contribute to sector sales strategy, define priority markets and targets, and lead cross-functional teams to develop winning commercial proposals that align with country and sector-specific commercial strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Support delivery of the top-line sales target across the Office & Production sectors
Support the development and execution of the sales strategy in line with country and sector commercial strategies
Support definition of key markets, geographies and targets in collaboration with the Sector Commercial team
Own the end-to-end sales, bidding, contract close and bid-to-operations handover process for assigned opportunities
Drive new business, organic growth and customer retention across the sector portfolio
Lead and coordinate cross-functional bid teams to develop and submit competitive commercial proposals
Ensure commercial processes, tools and CRM activity are applied consistently and effectively
Contribute to strategic sales initiatives and prioritised customer engagement activities
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
Proven experience in sales, business development or bid leadership roles
Strong track record of winning and converting complex deals end-to-end
Solid commercial acumen with the ability to balance revenue, margin and risk
Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills across senior and operational levels
Strong communication and collaboration skills within cross-functional environments
Highly driven, competitive and results-focused mindset
Confidence using CRM systems and managing structured sales pipelines and forecasts
