About the Opportunity
I am working on behalf of a well-established care provider to recruit an experienced and compassionate Interim Care Home Manager for a 6-month maternity cover contract in Liverpool. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to make a meaningful impact within a well-run residential service, with the potential to secure a permanent position at the end of the contract.
Key Responsibilities
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care in line with regulatory standards
• Maintain compliance with all relevant legislation and guidelines (including CQC requirements)
• Manage, support, and develop staff to create a positive and effective working environment
• Oversee budgets, occupancy levels, and overall operational performance
• Build strong relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders
• Lead on inspections and drive continuous improvement initiatives
About You
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practice within care services
• Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills
• A compassionate, resident-focused approach
• Relevant qualifications in health and social care (e.g. NVQ Level 5 or equivalent)
• Ability to hit the ground running and manage change effectively
