Summary

What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for someone:

• Who is calm,flexibleand imaginative.
• Who has experiance of working with special educational needs.
• Must be able to drive and have access to a car, as will involve driving to different settings.
• To work as a key worker for a child with additional needs
• Has good interpersonal skills andis able touse their initiative as well as working well in a team.
• Has a good level of English, Maths and IT skills.
• Who is able to offer experience in an alternative curriculum area, such as PE or a language. (Desirable)

This role will involve supporting a student in different settings, moving towards a more classroom based situation over time with the successful candidate taking direction from the class teacher and SENCo to provide high quality support to small groups of children and 1:1 individuals.

A willingness to undertake the following training is essential:

• Children Protection and Prevent Training
• First Aid Training
• Positive handleing

The successful candidate will be:
