Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to work with children in EYFS at a nursery school in Rochdale.

This role is ideal for someone committed to making a real impact in early education and eager to play a vital role in pupils' development and learning journey.



A friendly and nurturing primary school located in the Rochdale area (OL12) is looking for a dedicated and experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant - this qualification must be EYFS specific. This position focuses on providing stimulating and meaningful learning opportunities to children in Early Years. Initially offered as a temporary role, there is strong potential for it to extend into a long-term position to support the development of pupils in the current cohorts.



Location: Rochdale

Job Type: Full-time, 8.30am-3.30pm (long-term opportunity)

Salary: £95-£105 per day

Start date: ASAP April 2026



What Does the Role Entail?:

Collaborate closely with the Class Teacher and SENCO to develop and adjust learning approaches, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all pupils.

Provide ongoing support to the Class Teacher throughout the school day by monitoring pupils' development and offering constructive feedback.

Work with children individually or in small groups during Continuous Provision and phonics.

What We're Looking For:

A relevant qualification, such as a Level 3 Certificate in Childcare or Teaching Assistance.

Proven experience supporting pupils in a classroom or small group environment in EYFS.
