Summary

The post-holder will be responsible for: Support the NCLCA leadership team in the identification of projects to deliver on the strategic priorities of the NCL cancer system and wider NHS Support the programme management team in the development and delivery of project plans; undertaking and allocating tasks as appropriate; identifying and managing risks, issues and dependencies; highlighting best practice and appraising options; and ultimately making decisions in the best interest of the project and programme Take responsibility for a high standard of work, supporting the delivery of projects on time, to quality standards and in a cost-effective manner Plan and organise numerous meetings and events, including governance groups; ensuring the timely circulation of agenda, minutes and papers Contribute to the development of improved patient pathways, through support to clinical, operational and population health teams, as relevant Build highly effective working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders across the sector; promote and forge collaborative working; nurture and maintain networks Collate, analyse and present complex, at times sensitive information to a wide range of stakeholders, including statistical data and financial information, to support informed decision-making With the communications lead, ensure effective communications are delivered on projects, including showcasing achievements, and sharing learning and good practice Develop, monitor and report on project budgets, including managing variance and uplifts in response to changes to plans and emerging opportunities during implementation Record personally generated information, including frequent and ongoing use of project management software, logging data and running reports Be aware of and adhere to all Trust policies and procedures, the Health and Safety at Work Act and the Data Protection Act. NCLCA is hosted by University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. We are based in an office on Warren Street, central London. Hybrid working is the norm, with the expectation that all staff will come into the office at least once a week (usually Thursdays).
