Owen Payne Recruitment are currently seeking a high volume of experienced Saw Operators to join reputable companies across Wolverhampton, Bilston, and Wednesbury. With immediate starts available, this is a fantastic opportunity to secure ongoing work with competitive pay.

**Please note - for all roles, you must have at least 2 years’ experience working within a Saw Operator role**

Duties may include (but not limited to):

• Operating saw machines (CNC Saws, Band Saws, Vertical Saws)
• Working with manual, semi-automatic and automatic saw machines
• Setting/programming machines to required length ready for cutting
• Loading and unloading steel materials onto machines
• Using measuring equipment such as verniers, calipers, measuring tapes etc.
• Cutting, shaping, and preparing steel components
• Inspecting finished products for defects or damage
• Reading and interpreting drawings
• Completing cutting paperwork
• Moving materials safely within the factory
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Following all company health and safety procedures
• Operating overhead cranes
• Undertaking any other duties as required to support business needs

Working hours will vary depending on location – all positions are day shifts

Rate of pay - £13.50 - £14.38 per hour
