Summary
Rikama Education Ltd. are excited to be working with an SEMH behavioural school in the Maidstone area who are looking to recruit a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to start as soon as possible.
The school supports students from KS3 - KS5 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. The school is set in a stunning picturesque location in Maidstone, which adds to its unique and long running success.
You will be joining a close-knit team who support their staff as much as their students, making for a great working and learning environment.
To be considered for these roles it is essential that you have the following experience:
• Experience of supporting children/young adults with social and emotional support needs.
• An understanding and ability to build trust and empathize with students that have had challenging backgrounds.
• Experience supporting students within SEN school's or candidates with a mental health support/young offender's background would be a strong candidate.
• Being of a resilient and firm nature when necessary.
