Summary
Teaching Assistant – Maidstone
Hours: 37 per week, Term time only (41 weeks)
Contract: Permanent
A leading education provider is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team in Maidstone.
The role involves:
Supporting individuals and small classes of secondary and college-aged students.
Assisting the teacher with lesson delivery, SEN interventions, and small group work.
Managing behaviour and supporting students with SEMH
Supervising students during breaks and lunchtimes.
Liaising with parents and guardians regarding student progress.
Requirements:
Strong English and Maths skills.
Knowledge of safeguarding, SEN, and health & safety.
Ability to support students with challenging behaviour and complex needs.
Experience working with children who have EHCPs or special educational needs.
Commitment to raising achievement and supporting student wellbeing.
Strong Pastoral and Nurturing skills
