Advanced Technical Lecturer - Electrical

Role Description

We are seeking an exceptional Advanced Technical Lecturer in Electrical to deliver, lead and shape outstanding provision across entry level to Level 3 programmes in one of our key jobs‑in‑demand technical sectors.

This is a senior teaching role for an experienced electrical professional who is passionate about developing future‑ready learners and translating real‑world electrical industry practice into high‑quality, inspiring teaching, learning and assessment.

In addition to the core responsibilities of a lecturer, the Advanced Technical Lecturer will lead subject pedagogy for Electrical, ensuring that curriculum delivery reflects current industry standards, employer expectations and future workforce needs. You will play a key role in setting the benchmark for excellent teaching, sharing expertise and modelling best practice to raise the quality and impact of delivery across the wider team.

Through your advanced technical expertise and industry experience, you will support the development of colleagues by sharing innovative approaches to teaching, learning and assessment (TLA), helping to build a strong, confident and consistently high‑performing Electrical delivery team.

You will design, produce and continually review high‑quality curriculum materials, clearly explain complex electrical concepts and theories, and demonstrate practical techniques using industry‑standard equipment and technologies that reflect modern electrical practice.
