ESSENTIAL
• Degree or equivalent
• Qualified teacher status
• Teaching Design Technology across KS3and KS4
• Excellent classroom management skills
• Ability to deliver outstanding teaching and learning within Design Technology
• Excellent personal organisational skills
• Fluent communicator
• Ability to use ICT for teaching and learning and in the tracking and monitoring of student learning
DESIRABLE
• Product Design A level
• Has helped to develop the curriculum and resources
• Experience of intervention processes to raise achievement
• Knowledge of recent curriculum development
• Experience of applying Rosenshine’s Principles of Instruction
