Summary
Elite Personnel is recruiting on behalf of a valued client for a Project Support Officer to support the implementation of an e-rostering system (Allocate). This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with digital systems, supporting people, and helping organisations adopt new ways of working.
At this stage, we are looking for someone in a more hands-on project support or “super user” role. The focus will be on working closely with the supplier to take designs from our managers, support system build and configuration, and help with testing and implementation activity.
This position plays a key role in ensuring a smooth setup and rollout of a staff scheduling system, working closely with managers, staff, and the system provider.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Engage with team leaders and managers to understand how staff schedules (rotas) need to work in practice
• Gather requirements and ensure these are clearly documented
• Work closely with the system supplier to ensure the system is set up correctly
• Act as the main point of contact between internal teams and the external provider
• Help translate operational needs into system configuration (e.g. shifts, roles, rules)
• Support system build, setup, and configuration in collaboration with the supplier
• Assist with system testing before launch to ensure everything works as expected
• Help identify gaps or improvements
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues before and during implementation
• Work with stakeholders to ensure solutions are practical and effective
• Help deliver training sessions and guidance materials
• Support staff in learning how to use the new system confidently
• Provide hands-on support during go-live
• Help embed the system into day-to-day operations so it becomes part of normal working practice
About You
Essential Skills & Experience:
• Comfortable using digital systems and able to learn new tools quickly
• Experience supporting colleagues or users with systems or processes
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain things clearly and simply
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
• A proactive, problem-solving approach
• Able to work collaboratively with different teams and external partners
Desirable Skills & Experience:
• Experience supporting system implementation, configuration, or testing
• Experience delivering training or supporting user adoption
• Familiarity with e-rostering or workforce management systems (e.g. Allocate)
• Experience working in structured or regulated environments
What’s on Offer
• Opportunity to support a meaningful digital transformation project
• Collaborative and supportive working environment
• Hands-on experience in system implementation and change delivery
• Weekly pay
Please note: We will require a copy of your UK right to work documentation before an application can be progressed.
Due to the unprecedented volume of response we are currently receiving regrettably we are no longer able to respond to every application individually. If you have not heard back from us within 48 hours, please assume your application for this role has been unsuccessful. We do read each CV carefully and if the situation changes or another potentially suitable role becomes active, we will be back in contact.
