Role Responsibilities:
-On a day‑to‑day basis complete Water Hygiene tasks to company standards.
-Providing expertise and managing optimum service delivery to maintain total customer satisfaction with the services provided.
-Carry out tasks allocated to you in accordance with all method statements and the cardinal rules of WCS Group.
-Complete allocated jobs within the agreed timescales.
-Complete all necessary documentation accurately and submit on the electronic system in live time.
-Must not exceed one audit failure per year.
-To normally act as the lead technician or ‘responsible person' when working in a team of two or more technicians.
-To ensure all work is completed in compliance with current legislation and documented at all times.
-Tasks to be carried out in accordance with WCS Group procedures/method statements.
-Maintain and promote Health and Safety standards within your team, to sub‑contractors, and to clients to company standards and procedures.
-Plan to ensure work as scheduled is completed on time, and to maximum efficiency.
-Liaise with client representatives as required.
-Report any pertinent issues to your field manager or client representative as appropriate.
-At all times adhere to the client's specific Health and Safety/Safe Working Practices.
-To be able to carry out multiple tasks in a range of works disciplines and take responsibility for identifying personal training needs and bringing these to the attention of your Line Manager.
-To train less experienced technicians/engineers.
-To occasionally work in any other role which is considered to be reasonably within capabilities.
-Ensure all equipment used is safe and fit for purpose.
-Have skills in line with Levels 1 & 2 as well as either:
-Technical service (closed heating and chilled system testing, cooling tower weekly/monthly checks and water treatment of boilers)
-Plumbing & water treatment remedial skills
-Acid descaling of boilers, towers and condensers
Required Qualifications:Applicants must meet the below-defined requirements for the role.
-Relevant experience and competency in Water Hygiene tasks at Levels 1, 2, and 3.
-Ability to work to method statements, procedures and safety rules.
-Ability to act as a lead technician/responsible person when required.
