The Role:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support tailored to individual student needs
- Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging, differentiated learning activities
- Support pupils' emotional regulation and promote positive behaviour strategies
- Help create a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment
- Build strong, trusting relationships to encourage student engagement and progress
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have experience working with children or young people with SEND or SEMH needs
- Be patient, resilient, and empathetic in their approach
- Be confident managing challenging behaviour in a calm and consistent manner
- Demonstrate a proactive and flexible attitude
- Be committed to supporting the development and wellbeing of all learners
Desirable (but not essential):
- Team Teach training or similar behaviour management experience
- Experience within a specialist or alternative provision setting
