Summary
Sun and Moon after school club are looking for a play worker with childcare level 2/3 or equivalent qualification. Must be well-organised, enthusiastic, and flexible with good communication skills.
Hours of work term time only:
Breakfast club: Two mornings per week - 7.45 am - 8.45 am
After school club: Mon, Tue & Thurs - 3 pm – 6 pm
Main duties include:
• Be a role model for the children
• Assist with planning, preparing and delivering quality play opportunities within
a safe and caring environment.
• Being responsible for a key group of children Providing comprehensive care for
the children including collecting them from school.
• Setting up the play space including moving furniture and play equipment.
• Providing refreshments and ensuring that hygiene, health & safety standards
are met.
• Administering first aid when necessary.
• Consulting with children and involving them in planning activities.
• Helping with club administration, where necessary.
• Undertaking appropriate and relevant training
• Keeping the work environment healthy, safe and secure.
• Working within the framework of the club’s policies and procedures.
