Summary
We are looking for a Finance Business Partner to join our London team on a 6‑month fixed‑term contract.
This role sits within our Specialty Business Partnering team and plays a key part in supporting Lead Underwriters and Senior Business Partners across a portfolio of Specialty products.
You will help drive commercial decision‑making by producing high‑quality financial and underwriting management information, analysing product performance against plan, forecast and prior periods, and supporting both the annual business planning process and periodic forecasting cycles. You will also contribute to the three‑year strategic planning cycle for your assigned product areas, develop and enhance financial models to deliver robust and timely insights, and work closely with Underwriting, Claims, Operations and the wider Finance teams to ensure clear, aligned and commercially focused outcomes.
To succeed in this role, you will bring a background in financial services, ideally within the insurance sector, along with a recognized accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA or an equivalent. You will have strong analytical capabilities and experience developing and working with complex financial models, supported by excellent Excel skills—with VBA knowledge considered an advantage—and confidence handling large datasets. Effective stakeholder management and communication skills are essential, as is an understanding of relevant accounting standards, including US, UK and/or Irish GAAP.
