ScottishPower Energy Networks are seeking an experienced Implementation Lead to join their Business Transformation Centre of Excellence. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in delivering large-scale technology transformation initiatives that support the future of the energy sector.
You’ll be embedded within one of SPEN’s key Value Streams, which span areas such as Customer Management, Work & Asset Management, Data & Analytics, GIS & Mobility, SMART & Network Visibility, and Transmission.
What You’ll Be Doing
In this role, you will provide strong IT leadership within an Agile delivery environment, driving continuous improvement and ensuring delivery excellence across complex technology programmes.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading and motivating multi disciplinary Agile delivery teams
Planning, coordinating, and delivering enterprise scale IT projects
Facilitating Agile ceremonies and removing delivery blockers
Managing budgets, resources, timelines, and delivery risks
Ensuring alignment between technology delivery and business objectives
Engaging and influencing senior stakeholders across SPEN and the wider Iberdrola Group
You’ll contribute to the successful delivery of projects within a £20–30 million annual capex programme, supporting SPEN’s regulatory and operational commitments.
You’ll bring:
Proven experience delivering complex Agile IT programmes
A strong track record of delivering enterprise systems on time and within budget
In depth knowledge of Agile frameworks, DevOps practices, and IT lifecycle management
Excellent leadership, communication, and problemsolving skills
The ability to influence at senior levels and foster trust across teams
Strong change management capability in fast paced, regulated environments
