Summary
Thorn Baker have the exciting opportunity to recruit for a general operative on a permanent basis for a well known manufacturing business in the NG8 area of Nottingham!
Job Overview
• Assist with the setup, adjustment, and basic maintenance of equipment
• Carry out routine quality checks to ensure products meet required standards
• Follow production schedules and meet output targets
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with health and safety regulations
• Identify and report faults, defects, or safety concerns to supervisors
• Support loading and unloading of materials and finished goods
• Work collaboratively with team members and other departments
• Ability to operate machinery safely and efficiently
• Good attention to detail and quality standards
• Happy to work in an environment that can get dirty due to the nature of the products being manufactured.
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Operative to join our production team. The successful candidate will support day-to-day operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, ensuring machinery is operated safely and efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
Pay & Benefits
Starting Salary of £12.71 per hour with a pay increase in June
Stable Day shift working Monday - Friday 7am - 4pm
