ROLE: Minor Works Programmer
HOURS: Monday to Friday, 40 hours, 8:00am - 5:00pm
LOCATION: Brimingham - T2 Trinity Park
At Mitie, our people are our greatest strength, and our promise is to create a place to work where you can thrive and be your best every day. We're seeking a confident and organised Minor Works Programmer to support the delivery works within the CCS Framework contracts for the Home Office.
This role involves liaising with subcontractors to get quotes for the works needed completing on site, calculate and submit quotations within the contract agreed SLA's, co-ordination, planning and control of delivery of small works requests.
Role Responsibilities:
-Daily management and progress of Work Orders through from start to completion.
-Escalate, chase and resolve queries regarding Additional Works effectively.
-Detailed planning and co-ordination of Work Orders with supply chain, internal operations and commercial teams.
-Assist Management in preparation of internal & external reporting of additional new works process.
-Assist in the valuation and submission of contract Warning Notices and Compensation Events, maximising both revenue and profit margin.
-Liaison with Client representatives, customers, supply chain and internal departments.
-Management of budgets to ensure works are processed and completed to contractual timeframe and priced with value for money in mind.
-Working closely with the Contract teams to ensure reactive and new works are priced in accordance within the contract.
What we are looking for:
-A confident communicator, comfortable making and taking calls,
-Flexible and adaptable approach to work with problem solving skills,
-Experience with Microsoft Office platforms, excel, word etc.,
-Self-disciplined and able to work on own initiative with the ability to make relevant decisions,
-Support of incidental works and other new works programmes,
-Escalate, chase and resolve queries regarding Additional Works effectively within the specified time limit as per the process,
