Job Description:
I am a young Gentleman living in Solihull, who is looking to recruit a Personal Assistant to enable me to access the community and socialise. The right candidate will be reliable and happy to companion me on days out and also shopping. Other duties will include prompting medication, guidance with meal preparation and assistance with housework.
They should be friendly and patient and have a flexible approach to work. Ideally they will have NVQ level qualifications and knowledge of Autism and Asperger syndrome. They will be understanding of my needs and encourage my independence and self-confidence.
The hours and days are to be arranged to suit both the employer and candidate.
The employer operates a non-smoking policy on his premises.
A full driving licence valid to drive within the UK and use of a car would be preferable.
This post is subject to an Enhanced DBS check paid for by the employe

Working with people with Aspergers: 1 year (preferred)
