SEN Teaching Assistant - Worsley (KS2 SEN Provision)
Worsley, Salford
£105 - £108 per day
Monday - Friday | 8:30am - 3:30pm
Start Date: ASAP | Long-term role
We are recruiting for an SEN Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Little Hulton, working within their KS2 SEN provision.
This role involves supporting pupils with a range of needs including autism, SLD and MLD, many of whom are non-verbal or require additional communication support.
The Role:
- Working within a small SEN provision alongside a team of Teaching Assistants
- Supporting pupils with complex needs on both a group and 1:1 basis
- Using communication tools such as PECS and visual aids
- Assisting with personal care where required
The Ideal Candidate:
- Experience working with SEN, particularly SLD/MLD or non-verbal pupils
- Understanding of communication strategies such as PECS
- Team player with a proactive approach
- Comfortable supporting pupils with additional needs including personal care
