Summary
As a Strategic Partnerships Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in coordinating strategic safeguarding and Prevent activity across Hampshire, bringing together partners from local authorities, health, policing, criminal justice and the voluntary sector. As part of our specialist team, you’ll help drive effective collaboration and strengthen system responses that protect adults at risk and support safer communities.
What you’ll do:
• Coordinate delivery of Hampshire Safeguarding Adults Board (HSAB) and Prevent Partnership Board (PPB) priorities, events and subgroup activity, ensuring effective multi agency partnership working, shared learning and strong stakeholder relationships.
• Monitor quality and system performance, representing the partnerships at local and national forums.
• Support development and communication of safeguarding policies and guidance, coordinating and analysing multi agency audits to drive improvement.
• Collaborate with other boards and partners to align approaches and support delivery of operational plans and action plans.
• Contribute to statutory reporting, maintain accurate governance records, and ensure compliance with safeguarding and Prevent legislation.
What we’re looking for:
• Professional experience across adult social care, health, community safety, criminal justice, and Prevent.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, able to deliver complex and sensitive material to varied audiences.
• Proven ability to manage confidential information appropriately and work collaboratively with multi agency partners.
• Skilled in developing and implementing multi agency policies, procedures and guidance.
• Committed to co production and incorporating the views of service users and carers into service design.
• Resilient, proactive and influential, with the ability to challenge effectively and manage demanding, sensitive issues.
