Summary

Higher Level Teaching Assistant, interventions (SATS Focus)
Mansfield NG20 Mansfield Woodhouse, Forest Town, Berry Hill, and Pleasley.
£120-£130 per day
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Full-time, long-term temporary

Long Term Futures is seeking a confident and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) within Mansfield primary schools working with KS2 with a focus on SATS interventions. Level 4 is desirable but not essential.

This role is ideal for a skilled and experienced HLTA with a passion for delivering structured interventions, supporting development, and making a positive impact on pupil progress across multiple year groups.

About the Role
Working closely with other members of the wider team such as the SENCo, EYFS lead and teachers, your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

* Delivering targeted interventions in areas such as phonics, reading, writing and numeracy
* Supporting pupils to build confidence and excel in a learning environment.
* Leading small-group sessions and occasional 1:1 support where needed. You may also be required to lead lessons in the absence of the teacher, or as needed.
* Adapting strategies to meet a range of learning needs, including SEND requirements.
* Monitoring progress and providing feedback to teachers and leaders where necessary.
* Helping maintain structured, engaging and inclusive learning environments for children to flourish.
- PPA cover as and when required


Ideal Candidate Profile
* HLTA status
* Strong understanding of KS2 curriculums and frameworks.
* Confident delivering phonics and functional skills support and interventions to pupils.
* Experience supporting pupils with additional needs.
* Proactive, organised and able to work independently and within a team
* Able to commit to a full-time role for at least one academic year.
Child workforce DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one.
