Teacher of A level Sociology with A level Psychology and/or L3 CriminologyPermanent, part time (0.6 FTE)Salary Range: M1 - UPS3 £32,916 - £51,048 FTE Start Date: September 2026 The Joseph Whitaker School is a popular 11-18 school, in Rainworth, a village just outside of Mansfield. It serves the three local villages of Blidworth, Rainworth and Ravenshead and has 1360 students. Due to the increased uptake of subjects within the Social Sciences Department, we are seeking to appoint an additional well-qualified A level Teacher of Sociology, ideally with experience of teaching A level Psychology and/or L3 Criminology. Prior experience of having delivered the Extended Project Qualification would also be advantageous. We have extremely high expectations of our students and staff and offer excellent training and professional development opportunities. This position would be ideal for either someone looking to broaden their experience of Key Stage 5 teaching.
