What you will bring to the role OBJECTIVES OF THE POST To delivery care to patients at the Leeds Children's Hospital at Leeds General Infirmary Out-patient clinics in Leeds Children's Hospital Outreach out-patient clinics in Airedale General Hospital and St Luke's Hospital in Bradford Supervision of patients Care of in-patients Joint care of gastroenterology and colorectal patients Contribute to Specialist Multi-disciplinary team meetings Participate in multi-disciplinary teamwork with Clinical Nurse Specialists, Physicians and Surgeons Theatre Sessions To link with Consultant colleagues in other relevant site specialist teams within the Children's Hospital and across the Trust. To work with colleagues in General Paediatric Surgery to delivery acute on-call (currently 1 in 9). This includes both out of hours cover in addition to acute ward rounds during normal working hours. To contribute to research, teaching, and new developments within the Service. The post holder will be encouraged to facilitate and contribute to the current clinical research programs on going in the department.
