Summary


We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated psychology graduate who is keen to gain experience in order to progress towards applied training in clinical psychology. The post is focused upon undertaking of young people attending special schools in Bexley and identified as benefitting from as assessment for learning disability.

The role involves, under supervision, undertaking cognitive and functional assessments with the young person, school staff and parents, interpreting the assessments, writing and feeding back reports. Having experience of administering, scoring and interpreting Weschler Intelligence Scales would be an advantage. Excellent time management skills are essential to manage the throughput of assessments while working part time. be able to liaise and support clinical staff and teams, and an interest in working with children and young people is essential. The post will be supervised by a Clinical Psychologist.
