We are seeking a skilled and proactive Lead Data Analyst to join our UK&I Digital & Data Hub on a 12-month fixed-term contract.​

This role will play a central part in analysing performance and client KPI data that spans multiple operating systems, ensuring visibility, accuracy, and insight across the organisation.

Job Description

We are looking for someone who can turn complex data into meaningful intelligence, supporting better decision-making and driving continuous improvement across account teams, operational teams, and central functions.​

This role offers a broad remit with the opportunity to influence data solutions, analytical approaches, and the development of scalable data products.

Key Responsibilities

Clean, transform, and validate data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency across multiple data sources.

Identify and resolve data quality issues by working closely with data owners and stakeholders.

Apply analytical techniques to uncover trends, patterns, and relationships that support business decision making.

Create clear, compelling dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Excel.

Engage with business leaders, operational teams, and clients to understand requirements and translate them into actionable analytical outputs.

Ensure adherence to data governance standards, documentation, and security requirements.

Track performance metrics and KPIs, identifying opportunities for optimisation, automation, and continuous improvement.

Support the development and maintenance of data models and data products in collaboration with Data Engineers and the wider data team.

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

Proven experience using Tableau for data analysis and visualisation.

Experience using Power BI for dashboarding and reporting (ideal).

Strong experience working within complex business structures and across multiple operating systems.

Demonstrable ability to work with large data volumes and extract meaningful insights.

Proficiency in SQL, including writing queries, joining tables, and optimising performance.

Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to non‑technical audiences.

Awareness of data governance, data quality standards, lineage, security, and compliance.

Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, root‑cause analysis skills, and business acumen.
