We are seeking a Data Analyst to join our UK&I Digital & Data Hub, where you will play a key role in analysing data, developing data solutions, and providing visibility that enables data-driven decision-making.
This role spans a wide range of performance and client KPI data across multiple operating systems, supporting operational teams, account teams, and central functions.
Job Description
You will work across diverse datasets to uncover patterns, highlight trends, and identify opportunities for improvement.
The successful candidate will bring strong technical capability, analytical thinking, and excellent communication skills to translate complex information into clear, actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities
Clean, transform, and validate data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
Identify and resolve data quality issues by engaging with data owners.
Apply analytical techniques to uncover patterns, trends, and relationships in data.
Translate complex findings into meaningful insights that support business decisions.
Develop dashboards, reports, and visualisations using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Excel.
Engage with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver tailored analytical outputs.
Ensure adherence to data governance standards, policies, and security requirements.
Track KPIs and service metrics to assess business performance and recommend improvements.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of data models and wider data products.
Investigate anomalies and unexpected trends, providing evidence-based recommendations.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
Proven experience using Tableau for data analysis and visualisation.
Experience with Power BI for dashboarding and reporting (ideal).
Strong experience working within complex business structures and across multiple operating systems.
Demonstrable ability to work with large data volumes and extract meaningful insights.
Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate technical requirements and insights to non‑technical audiences.
Proficiency in SQL, including writing queries, joining tables, and optimising performance.
Experience in data modelling (beneficial but not essential).
Awareness of data governance, data quality standards, lineage, security, and compliance.
Strong analytical thinking, root‑cause analysis skills, attention to detail, and business acumen.
