Key Objectives
Provide effective leadership and management to a team operating across various sites.
Ensure efficient planning, coordination, and delivery of services within agreed standards.
Foster a positive and inclusive team culture that encourages professional growth and collaboration.
Maintain clear communication channels between team members, stakeholders, and senior management.
Responsibilities
Lead, motivate, and develop a peripatetic team, ensuring high levels of engagement and performance.
Coordinate team schedules and resources to meet operational demands across multiple locations.
Monitor and evaluate service delivery, implementing improvements where necessary to achieve organisational objectives.
Manage recruitment, induction, and ongoing training to maintain a skilled and adaptable workforce.
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Prepare and present regular reports on team performance and service outcomes.
Ensure compliance with organisational policies, health and safety regulations, and relevant legislation.
Support conflict resolution and address any staffing issues promptly and professionally.
Requirements
Proven experience in managing mobile or peripatetic teams, preferably within education, social care, or related sectors.
Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging diverse audiences.
Ability to work independently and as part of a wider management team.
Competent in using digital tools and software for scheduling, reporting, and communication.
Demonstrable problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
Flexibility to travel regularly between sites as required by the role.
Qualifications
A relevant professional qualification in management, education, social care, or a related field is desirable.
Evidence of continuous professional development and leadership training.
