Summary
This post offers an exciting opportunity to work within Homerton Sexual Health Services as part of a small administrative team supporting the Psychology Team. The role is essential to ensuring the smooth and efficient running of administrative processes, particularly within the psychosexual pathway.
The postholder will work closely with the Psychosexual Lead to support operational procedures and meet service KPIs. Responsibilities include day-to-day administration, supporting trainee psychosexual therapists’ induction, managing waiting lists safely, and contributing to quarterly KPI reports. There is also scope to develop an appropriate clinical role aligned with academic requirements and service needs.
The successful candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills, be highly organised, and act as the first point of contact for clients and professionals. The role requires managing tight deadlines, maintaining records, calendars, databases, and correspondence, and escalating issues when necessary.

· To develop and manage systems for efficient administration and co- ordination of care, training & research.
· To report immediately any incidents affecting staff, users or visitors on health service property in accordance with Trust policies.
· To manage diaries, work plans and project plans as required.
· To carry out other clinical and administrative tasks as appropriate to the post holder’s grade.
· To maintain the onward referral database for patients that are not accepted into the service.
· To provide excellent communication skills to ensure a quality and friendlyservice isofferedwithin Homerton Healthcareto professionals andclients.
· To book appointments, clinics, and assist with the onboarding of trainees to the service.
· The postholder will manage incoming and outgoing communication following referrals with patients and referrers in liaison with the Psychosexual Lead.
· The postholder will be responsible for the psychosexual trainee induction and ongoing administrative support.
· To attend the weekly Psychology team meetings and take minutes and actions.
