Job Introduction
Join our team as a Security Guard with Sodexo and take pride in maintaining a safe and secure environment, upholding high standards of vigilance, and supporting smooth operations across the site!
What you’ll do:
- Maintain full adherence to SIA licence requirements at all times
- Learn, sign off, and follow all security Assignment Instructions
- Provide a professional first point of contact for all Gatehouse visitors
- Control site access and egress, ensuring only authorised visitors are permitted entry
- Manage vans and HGV deliveries in line with site procedures
- Monitor CCTV and alarms, responding appropriately as instructed
- Communicate clearly and professionally via email, radio, and telephone
What you bring:
- Valid SIA Licence (essential)
- First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
- Previous gatehouse or security experience preferred
- Strong communication skills and professional approach to visitors and staff
- Good awareness of health & safety and site security procedures
- Reliable, vigilant, and able to work independently or as part of a team
