We're looking for a Workshop Based Engineer who will play a key role in maintaining and improving the reliability, performance, and compliance of specialist workshop and mobile processing equipment within our SludgeTEK business.
Role Responsibilities
-Carry out maintenance, inspection, and repair of SludgeTEK workshop equipment and associated assets
-Undertake servicing, fault‑finding, and repair of mobile and static processing equipment within the Andover workshop
-Work in line with company procedures, industry standards, and all health & safety requirements
-Support and oversee subcontract labour to ensure work is completed safely and to a high standard
-Complete accurate work reports and documentation using company systems, while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications
Applicants must meet the below defined requirements for the role:
-Recognised apprenticeship or equivalent formal training in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
-Experience with industrial installation and control systems, including PLC or microprocessor‑based systems
-Knowledge of motor control methods such as Star/Delta starters and inverter drives (up to 130kW)
-Experience within water, utilities, or process/manufacturing environments (desirable)
-Full, clean UK driving licence
