Summary


Clinical Trials Practitioner - Band 6

We are looking for a motivated CTP to work in the busy Cardiology Research Department. You will be tasked with the running of a variety of clinical trials, in accordance with good clinical practice guidelines, with particular emphasis on supporting the team in multicentre studies coordination.

We are the biggest cardiovascular centre in Europe and have a growing portfolio of interventional research for cardiac patients. The post is for a one-year fixed term contract position in the first instance with possibility of extension.

The primary responsibility for this post holder is to take a leading role in the setting up and running of a portfolio of cardiology research, initiate and manage different projects within the department.

You will be a CTP with a strong background in clinical trials management. You must demonstrate strong organisational, interpersonal and communication skills, be computer literate, flexible and be able to manage your own time effectively. Excellent time management and IT skills are essential to the role. Experience of formal and informal teaching and clinical research will be advantageous.
