The Role
This is a hybrid role combining **teaching, management and growth responsibilities**.
You will:
* Deliver **3 weekly after-school classes**
* Manage and support a small team of staff
* Oversee the day-to-day running of classes
* Lead and manage our **holiday camps (HAF and paid camps)**
* Support the growth of the area by helping launch new school clubs and increase party bookings
We are looking to appoint fairly quickly, so early applications are encouraged.
Key Responsibilities
Delivery
* Lead 3 engaging, fun sessions each week
* Build positive relationships with children and schools
Staff Management
* Create weekly staff rotas
* Arrange cover for sickness/absence
* Be the first point of contact for staff
* Support and guide team members
Operations
* Ensure classes run smoothly across all locations
* Handle day-to-day communication with schools (non-commercial)
* Monitor quality of delivery
Holiday Camps
* Plan and lead holiday camp delivery
* Organise staffing, schedules and resources
* Oversee daily operations on-site
Parties & Events
* Manage birthday party enquiries and bookings
* Organise staffing and logistics for parties
* Deliver parties where required
* Support the growth of party bookings within the local area
Growth & Development
* Support the launch of new school clubs
* Assist with school communications and follow-ups
* Help identify opportunities to expand within the local area
Hours
* **Term Time:** Approximately 8–10 hours per week
* **School Holidays:** Up to 18 hours per week (depending on camps)
This role offers flexibility and is ideal for someone looking for part-time work with increased hours during school holidays.
Pay
* £14–£17 per hour (depending on experience)*
* Opportunity to increase to higher rate following successful probation
* Potential for additional incentives linked to growth and new clubs
About You
You will:
* Hold a **Level 3 qualification in childcare (or equivalent)**
* Have experience working with children (school, nursery or similar)
* Have **some leadership or supervisory experience**
* Be organised, reliable and proactive
* Be confident managing a small team
* Be comfortable taking initiative and solving problems independently
* Be interested in developing your role and contributing to growth
* Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a car
