Salary: £24 to £25 gross per hour depending on experience
Hours Required: 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Ideally 2:00pm to 6:00pm, although 1:00pm to 5:00pm could be accommodated
Start Date: ASAP
Driver: Prefer driver with own car, although not essential
Overview
A family are seeking a reliable, organised and compassionate Housekeeper Nanny to support the smooth running of their home.
This is a varied, housekeeping-led role with a strong element of household management and childcare support. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the home runs efficiently, while also supporting the children with their daily routines and activities.
The role would suit someone proactive, capable and emotionally intelligent, who is comfortable taking ownership of tasks and adapting to the needs of the household.
Key Responsibilities
• Full housekeeping including cleaning, tidying and maintaining the home
• Laundry, ironing and general household organisation
• Shopping, errands and day-to-day household support
• Meal planning, food shopping and cooking
• Household management including organising tradespeople and resolving issues in the home
• Managing household administration such as appointments, activities and general life admin
• Supporting with gardening where helpful (not essential)
• Collecting children from school or taking them to activities where required
• Supporting with homework, routines and after-school care
• Providing reliable and consistent support to the family
Requirements
• Previous experience working in a private household
• Strong housekeeping skills with good attention to detail
• Highly organised and capable of managing multiple responsibilities
• Confident supporting older children independently
• Calm, compassionate and emotionally intelligent
• Proactive with a practical, problem-solving approach
• Driver with own car preferred
• Fluent English
• Cantonese speaker desirable but not essential
• Enhanced DBS
• Right to work in the UK
• First Aid certification required
