About the Role

As Deputy Care Home Manager, you’ll play a vital role in leading the home and supporting the Home Manager to deliver outstanding, person-centred care. You’ll guide and inspire your team, ensuring residents receive the highest standards of dignity, respect, and clinical excellence.

You’ll be hands-on, visible, and proactive—creating a positive environment for residents, families, and staff alike.


What You’ll Be Doing


Support the day-to-day running of a busy nursing and residential care home
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing care team
Ensure compliance with CQC standards and best practice
Drive a culture of person-centred care
Build strong relationships with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
Contribute to continuous improvement and service excellence



About You

We’re looking for someone who brings both clinical expertise and leadership energy:


Registered Nurse (essential)
Experience in a leadership role within a 40+ bed care home
Strong background in dementia and general nursing care
Confident knowledge of CQC regulations
A natural leader who motivates and develops teams
Passionate about delivering exceptional care
