Summary
What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for a fantastic teacher who holds a good honours degree, Qualified Teacher status and who has experience of teaching within the primary range.
They should have knowledge and understanding of:
• The theory and practice of providing effectively for the individual needs of all children
• Effective teaching
• Statutory National Curriculum requirements for EYFS/KS1/KS2
• The monitoring, assessment, recording and reporting of pupil progress
• The statutory requirements of legislation concerning Child Protection, Health and Safety, Equal Opportunities and SEND
• The positive links necessary within school with all stakeholders
The should have the following skills:
• A willingness to support and participate in the general life of the school
• Ability to organise and create a happy, attractive and engaging learning environment
• Ability to engage constructively with and relate to parents, governors and the community
• Ability to work effectively in a team
• Effective communication skills (both orally and in writing) to a variety of audiences
• A commitment to raising standards through planning exciting learning opportunities
