Summary
Responsibility for inpatient and outpatient management with 6 other Burns Surgeons and close working with the other team members to provide the highest possible standards of care in diagnosis and management of children and adults with burns. Specialist Burns MDT attendance. Collaborative working with the Burns MDT and wider Plastic Surgery Unit. Involvement in a 1 in 7 on call for burns trauma with prospective cover. Facilitate 7 day per week Consultant on-site cover at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. Contribution to postgraduate teaching of ST grades and StR grades. Lead for the existing work experience programme for prospective medical students
