Summary
To ensure the efficient and accurate handling of incoming and outgoing goods. This role supports production by maintaining inventory integrity, ensuring timely deliveries, and upholding safety and quality standards
• Receive deliveries of raw materials, components, and general supplies, checking the delivery notes to the relevant PO and highlighting any discrepancies to the Buyer.
• Inspect incoming goods for damage, quantity, and quality compliance – highlighting immediately any defects / shortages to the Buyer.
• Record deliveries in the company ERP system and label items appropriately prior to put away.
• Store goods in designated areas following FIFO (First In, First Out) principles
• Pick and pack finished products for dispatch according to customer orders.
• Prepare shipping documentation (delivery notes, labels, manifests).
• Load goods onto transport vehicles safely and securely.
• Coordinate with 3rd Party couriers and logistics providers for timely dispatch as needed
• Maintain accurate stock records, including finished goods held in storage at 3rd party warehouse and conduct regular inventory checks.
• Operate forklifts, pallet trucks, and other handling equipment (training provided if needed).
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
• Flexibility on working hours will be required at times.
• To maintain compliance to all company policies and guidelines.
• To complete relevant work instruction quality control sheets, including FSC requirements in a timely manner.
