Bank Support Worker (Home Care)
Shifts available for immediate cover. Driving required for call-outs. No switch COS applications accepted at this time.
We are urgently seeking compassionate and dedicated Bank Support Workers to support clients within home care settings across the Stafford area. Shifts are available on weekdays and weekends.
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care, supporting individuals with a range of needs to maintain their safety, comfort, dignity, and wellbeing in their own homes. This role provides an opportunity to make a meaningful difference through tailored support and positive engagement.
Requirements:
Must be a driver with access to a vehicle
Able to work within the Stafford area
COS sponsorship is not available
This position is ideal for reliable, caring individuals who are flexible and committed to delivering care in line with CQC standards and organisational values.
Duties
Assist with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility support
Provide specialised care for individuals with Alzheimer's, dementia, or other cognitive impairments
Support patients with medication administration following prescribed protocols
Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements
Offer emotional support and behaviour management to promote a positive environment
Assist with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe living space
Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required
Monitor health status and report any concerns to healthcare professionals promptly
Support children or elderly clients with childcare or senior care needs as necessary
Administer first aid when required and respond effectively in emergency situations
